August Field Trip

Guided tour of the Texas Museum of Science and Natural History
Sunday, August 16th, 3:00 – 4:45 pm

Take a break from the summer heat and join chapter member Skip Beaird on a private guided tour of the Texas Museum of Science and Natural History. After viewing the Texas Titans and the Texas Transformation Gallery on the main floor, we’ll visit Epic Encounters, the newly updated exhibit in the Paleontology Gallery, which brings together fossil displays, immersive design, and interactive experiences to explore deep time, ancient environments, and the rich diversity of life that flourished in Texas. We’ll finish our tour at the new 4th floor exhibit, Masters of the Night, the True Story of Bats.
