Join us as we tackle the invasive plants threatening native vegetation along Bull Creek. The effort to eradicate invasives in the 62-acre Stenis tract has been ongoing for a few years, and we’re hoping our Swarm can make a significant impact!
We’ll start with a brief presentation about invasive species management at Stenis while enjoying breakfast tacos. Afterwards, we’ll take a short hike to our work area for hands-on plant identification and learn the girdling technique used to treat glossy privet.
Enjoy lovely sections of Bull Creek with fellow Master Naturalists! After the Swarm you may want to walk along the trails and see the beautiful bluffs above the creek.
