These plants tend to be drought tolerant, most need little, if any supplemental fertilizer, are resistant to most diseases and pests, and many provide habitat and food sources for local wildlife. The less watering, fertilizing and chemical usage required in your yard, the more you contribute to the conservation and protection of our precious water resources – our streams, lakes and aquifers.
